Sydney Interior Design
From pre-construction planning to final finishes — Glasshouse designs interiors for Sydney professionals who want it done right, the first time.
Start Your ProjectWe don't start with mood boards. We start with how you live — then design backwards from there. Every project is managed from first sketch to final finish, so you never have to coordinate between trades yourself.
Before you commit to a build, we review your floor plans and identify layout issues that cost far more to fix after construction begins. This is the service most designers don't offer — and the one that saves you the most.
Concept to completion. We manage every decision — materials, finishes, joinery, lighting, furniture — and coordinate with your builder so you don't have to. You see the result, not the process.
See your space before a single wall is moved. Photorealistic 3D renders of kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces so you can make confident decisions — not expensive guesses.
From stone benchtops to door hardware, we specify every finish, fixture, and fitting. A complete selections document your builder can price and build from — no substitutions, no surprises.
A session for one-off advice, styling support, or a second opinion before you make a major purchase. Expert guidance without the full-service commitment.
Our process is built around your time. You're consulted at every meaningful decision point — and protected from every one that isn't worth your attention.
We start with a detailed briefing — how you live, what frustrates you about the current space, and what success looks like for you. If pre-construction, we review your plans before anything is locked in. This is where we save you money.
Concept boards, material selections, 3D renders, and joinery drawings. You see exactly what you're getting before it's built. We iterate until it's right — not until the budget runs out.
We coordinate with your builder, attend joinery check measures, review installations, and manage finishes selection on site. You receive a completed space — not a renovation project to manage yourself.
The name Glasshouse comes from a story in modern architecture. In 1940, Philip Johnson designed the Glass House as a tribute to his mentor Mies van der Rohe — who hated it. What Mies criticised is now celebrated as one of the most brilliant works in architectural history. It's a reminder I come back to with every project: don't design for approval. Design with purpose.
I built Glasshouse around one belief: your space should make your life easier, not more complicated. My clients are busy professionals who trust me to make the right decisions — on finishes, layout, and trades — so they can focus on everything else.
The detail most people miss is timing. I get involved before a wall is moved — because that's when the right decisions cost nothing and the wrong ones cost everything.
EmmaYour recommendations on selection of finishes were correct and the end result was above our expectations.
Emma spent time thinking and designing at every step — working her creative magic to produce exactly what we described to the 'T'.
Emma picked up on some design malfunctions that the architects did not, and ensured that our place worked seamlessly.
"The changes Emma suggested from day one produced a quantum leap. We couldn't be happier with the result."
We work with a select number of clients each year to ensure every project gets the attention it deserves. If you're planning a renovation, new build, or want expert advice before committing to a layout — we'd love to hear from you.
We've received your enquiry and will respond within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. We look forward to hearing more about your project.
